Audio Forge is a native macOS application that operates entirely offline. Your privacy is fundamental to how we built this app.
Data Collection
Audio Forge does not collect any data. Specifically:
- We do not collect personal information
- We do not collect usage analytics or statistics
- We do not track how you use the app
- We do not access your audio files beyond what's needed for conversion
- We do not upload any files or data to external servers
Offline Operation
Audio Forge works entirely offline. The app does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests. All audio processing happens locally on your Mac.
File Access
Audio Forge only accesses files that you explicitly select through the file picker or drag and drop into the app. The app uses macOS security-scoped bookmarks to maintain access to your selected files while respecting the macOS sandbox.
Third-Party Services
Audio Forge does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
App Store
Audio Forge is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple may collect certain information as described in their privacy policy. This is handled entirely by Apple and is outside of our control.
